I am a self-taught expert in web technologies and trends with a depth of experience in cutting-edge HTML, CSS and Javascript with over a decade of experience. I know the ins and outs of all major browsers and rendering engines. I have participated in the development of the HTML5 specification through the WHATWG and I specialize in good coding practice, naturally resulting in fast, interoperable, easy-to-maintain, search-engine-optimized, future-proof websites. I quickly learn new skills and my “Google-fu” is at the black belt level.
I have experience working with youth as a leader and mentor, and experience teaching from curriculum that I created. I am seeking to use this experience to move out of the corporate world and into education.
